No one can deny 2020 was a very trying year. For young adults having hopes of enjoying freshman year campus life or returning to another semester with friends or having just started their career, the rug literally felt as if it had been pulled out from underneath from them. With the future seeming so uncertain and often bleak, these adults have to come to terms with themselves as their world and plans fall apart. To better navigate this chaotic new landscape, I will be sitting down with , Ariella Azaraf, live on Instagram to help you gain self-awareness and self-acceptance while opening yourself up to new possibilities. Whether you identify as young or old you won’t want to miss Ariella’s comforting wisdom.
Ariella is a Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Ariella has a virtual private practice and is the school social worker at Manhattan Day school. Ariella specializes in anxiety and depression with young professionals. She feels passionate about providing empathetic and warm support to her clients assisting them in finding meaning and purpose in their lives and relationships. This is my fourth installment of “Mental Health Mondays.” Each Monday I will be having a conversation with my favorite mental health therapists so that you can better navigate emotionally and mentally during these very stressful times.
